Joy ‘n Us – a new activity

Starting Sunday 26 February, Joy ‘n Us is a new activity for children aged 3 to 11.

During our usual worship service which starts at 10.30, children will be able to leave for their own learning activities which will take place in the newly refurbished small hall.

A creche facility, Little Fishes, already operates in the front room while the Sunday service is taking place, and has a host of popular toys for babies and toddlers up  to 3 years old.

For more information, ring Chris on 630 5309. We’d love to see you!

Lent studies

Make a note in your diary of the Lent studies being arranged by Village Churches Together (VCT) which are based on the Nicene Creed.  The course, called ‘Believe’ will run for six weeks at two different venues and times. Claremount Methodist Church
will host an evening course on Mondays from 7.30pm starting on 20th February, and Wallasey Village URC will host a morning course on Thursdays from 10.30am starting on 23rd February.

Those who have done this course in the past have found it
informative, interesting, thought-provoking and challenging, yet simple to
understand. Despite our denominational differences, we are all united in our
acceptance of the Nicene creed. Now we have an opportunity to consider its
implication and application in our everyday lives as individual Christians. I do hope
that as many people as possible will take advantage of this opportunity.

God bless,

Jeff Hughes
