What is Hope Wallasey and Moreton?

Supported by a national team from Through Faith Missions, Wallasey and Moreton churches are getting together from 7th to 15th May to host a variety of events across the borough for all age groups, and these will provide opportunities to hear and ask questions about our Christian faith.

What’s happening?

Below you will find details of the social events we are hosting at our own church.  We really hope you will come along and enjoy the occasions and the food and friendship we are offering.  There is no charge for attending any of these events, but donations will be welcome with proceeds going to charity.

And a recent addition to the programme – a film showing, with refreshments

We can’t tell you the name of the film online (licensing regs), but we can tell you that it is a heart warming and inspirational story of triumph over adversity (and it involves football).  Contact 638 4771 for futher details – or just enjoy the surprise when you arrive!

We are holding a special service on Friday 4th March at 2.00 pm. Every year, Wallasey joins with women all over the world to celebrate Women’s World Day of Prayer on the same day. Countries take it in turns to write the content of the service – this year women of Cuba have prepared it, and it’s the turn of Wallasey Village Church to host the service on behalf of Wallasey. The services are always lively and informative; the theme this year is:
